Pamukkale has always been a very popular settlement where the hot springs were believed to have healing powers, so the city became the center of a pagan cult in antiquity and a spa resort today. It represents a shimmering white cascade, formed by limestone-laden hot springs, which have formed stalactites, potholes, and magical fairy-tables. The water is reputed to be beneficial to the eyes and skin and to alleviate the ills of rheumatism, asthma, and dermatitis.

The journey to Pamukkale is about three hours. After one and a half hours, we have a 30-minute break, and then we have another one-and-a-half-hour journey. When we get there, first we will have a fabulous lunch, then your guide will inform you about the past and present events at Pamukkale (Hierapolis). After giving you information and showing you where to go and how to do things, the guide will give you a meeting point and leave you free for about three hours. It's up to you whether to visit the ancient side of Pamukkale, walk in the white paradise, or swim in Cleopatra's pool. When you meet your guide after you have done what you wanted, you will go down to the town and enter a very popular restaurant to have your lovely lunch. On the way back to Didim, we might visit the biggest handmade carpet weaving center.
