What You Need to Know About the Didim Boat Trip

The currents are mild, so there’s no need to worry. Land is always nearby, and with life jackets and buoyancy aids on board, the Didim Boat Tour is safe and enjoyable for all ages and abilities. You might want to bring your snorkeling equipment to take advantage of swimming in the clear blue waters amongst a variety of fish. The boat departs from Altinkum Harbour around 10:30 AM and returns to the same area by 5:00 PM. If adverse weather conditions occur on the morning of the tour, it's likely to be canceled due to safety reasons. Also, should the weather conditions change suddenly while out on the Didim Boat Trip, the tour will conclude, and the boat will return to the harbour in Altinkum.

What to Expect on Board the Didim Boat Trip

The specially equipped boat has a toilet cubicle with a sink for handwashing on board, and a shower hose near the steps for rinsing off the salty water after your swim. There is a café on the lower deck where tea, coffee, soft drinks, alcohol, and snacks (sometimes fresh fruit) can be purchased from the time of embarkation and can either be consumed in the café area or whichever deck you are spending your time on. Alternatively, one of the staff will come around to take your order and bring it to you. Usually, a speed boat comes to the boat during the tour and offers a choice of ice creams and lollies that you can buy. You will pay your bill at the end of your Didim Boat Tour.

Where You Will Visit on Your Tour

At 10:30 AM, the boat sails from the harbour, and you'll be picked up from your hotel or apartment in good time prior to the boat's departure. The boat sails to:

Each stop will take about 45 minutes. You will have a chance to swim at every stop. Besides seeing wonderful places and swimming in the fresh sea, you will also enjoy a delicious meal. There is a choice of chicken or köfte, served either with rice and salad or pasta and salad. Around 4:30 PM, you will return to the harbour.
