The world-famous Hippocrates Tree, located in the centre of Kos Island, is one of its most important symbols. Hippocrates, considered the father of medicine in mythological times, demonstrated that human treatment could be achieved through education and established a medical centre called Asklepion here. To enter Kos, it is of utmost importance to use the same travel document (passport or ID card) with which you entered Türkiye. If you show a different document, the border guard will not allow you to leave Türkiye for Kos or any Greek Island you are wanting to visit. The child's age is calculated based on their year of birth documented in the passport. Passport and ticket check-in takes place at the international terminal. Ferry crossing time: approx. 45 minutes to Kos.
In the port of Kos, after leaving the ferry and going through passport control and leaving the Ferry Terminal, you will turn left on exiting if you wish to explore the 'Old Town' first.
On your return, once you have arrived back in Bodrum Port and made your exit, our staff member, tour guide will be waiting for you with our company sign, ready to make your return back to Akbük.
