Kathara Beach

The beach of Kathara (meaning clean in Greek) is located 13 km from the town of Rhodes and a few hundred meters far from Faliraki. The beach honors its name with the magnificent sandy beach, surrounded by rough rocks while the crystal clear and shallow waters of the sea, form an ideal environment for all ages, especially the children.

It is nicely organized offering the best of the facilities like umbrellas, sundecks, shower, and phone. Despite its close proximity to Faliraki still it doesn't get very crowded offering their visitors an oasis of peace. The beach is easily accessible from the town of Rhodes with frequent bus routes, or else by car or taxi. There is a taxi station in the area of Faliraki.
