Emporio Beach
The calm beach of Emporios has pebbled and sandy spots. The water is crystal and few tourist facilities surround the beach.
Emporio is a lovely and serene beach located 24 km northwest of Pothia, the capital of Kalymnos. The entire settlement overlooks the natural bay. The beach consists of smooth pebbles and crystalline waters while some rock formations are found on either side. Some umbrellas and sunbeds are found right at the center. Trees provide nice shade for those who prefer the more isolated spots. There are frequent buses running to the village of Emporio but you can also access this beach by a boat from the village of Myrties.

This castle was built by the Knights of Saint John and it is also called the Citadel of the Knights. A little chapel to Panagia Chrysochera
Ton Toicho Beach
This is a small cove on the northern side of the island. It is totally remote and can be reached through a paved path from the main road.
Agios Soulas Beach
A small and unorganized beach, Agios Soulas is a nice place to relax. It is located in close distance to Pothia.
Lagouna Beach Vlychadia
This is a fine sandy beach where some fine taverns and a snack bar are available. This place is nice for scuba diving and snorkeling.
Kalamies Beach
Kalamies is a calm and picturesque beach on the northern side of Kalymnos, close to Emporios.
Akti Beach
This nice and calm beach is located on the eastern side of the island. It is not organized and the seabed is pebbled.
Agios Nikolaos Beach
This is a small beach in close distance to Pothia. It has a narrow sandy coast and crystal water.
Melitsahas Beach
This is a small bay on the western side of the island. As it is surrounded by hotels and summer houses, this beach gets busy in summer.
Town Beach
This is a small beach in a walking distance from the city centre, so it gets pretty busy in summer.
Platis Yialos Beach
This is a beautiful unorganized beach between Myrties and Kalymnos. It has black sand and some impressive rocks surround it.
Linaria Beach
This is a fine beach resort with calm environment. It is quieter than the other beach resorts of the area.
Massouri Beach
Massouri is a tourist resort on the western side of Kalymnos. Picturesque and calm, Massouri is surrounded by high, impressive rocks.
Kantouni Beach
This is a long beach with soft sand and crystal water. The coast is surrounded by some wild mountains.
Myrties Beach
Myrties is a popular beach resort on Kalymnos. The beach is organized and has many tourist facilities.
Arginonta Beach
This calm beach is located a bit off the main tourist resorts of the island, on the way to Emporios.
